Learn everything you need to know for your Telehealth appointment with Kate

Online or virtual physiotherapy is here! One of the positive adaptations that we had to make due to the global pandemic was getting physiotherapy online so that people could still access healthcare and even though restrictions are easing for us in South Australia - prior to COVID-19 I was already looking into Telehealth as medium to better look after my community who are often report being time poor, needing regular sessions to help keep them on track and love the ease of technology.

At this time, clients can book on Monday's and Wednesday's for an in-person appointment. Clients that are largely exercise and education based are encouraged to continue with Telehealth - or if you're time poor/love the convenience then Telehealth is still a great option!

If you're not sure which is the most suitable option for you or you would like more info please contact me via the methods below.

What are the steps for seeing Kate via Telehealth?

(1) Book an appointment online

If you're a current client all you have to do is book an appointment online, if you're a new client please book a telephone consult where we will first chat about your presenting issues and tee up a time for a initial consultation as I want to make sure that your issue is suitable for Telehealth first.

(2) Check your booking confirmation email and make sure you're ready to go!

1. I recommend using a laptop or a tablet for the video consultation as the video and audio is much better quality for us both! Have your bands, yoga mat, exercise ball etc nearby as well!

2. Open the browser for PhysiAPP (click here) at least 5 minutes prior to the consult (or use the PhysiAPP application) and login with your code. If you are unsure of your code / login details please email Kate via the day before your appointment.
